Pedro Lamy is in Northampton General Hospital following an accident at Silverstone Circuit this morning in a Type 107C. He is in a stable condition with injuries confined to both legs. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.

The car swerved off the track at a point mid-way between Abbey Curve and Bridge Bend, and hit the safety wall and debris fencing. Pedro was removed from the car when it came to rest, and was immediately airlifted to Northampton General Hospital where he is undergoing an operation this afternoon. A full report on his injuries will be made available as soon as his condition is confirmed.

As a result of the accident the team is reviewing its position with regard to the pending Spanish Grand Prix and there will be a further announcement regarding the team's plans on Thursday.
